Kevo Lock Automatically Re-Locking (Auto-Lock Setting)

Problem

A user reports:
“My Kevo lock automatically locks itself, and I don’t want it to do that.”

Likely Cause

The Auto-Lock feature may be enabled on the lock.

When Auto-Lock is turned on, the Kevo lock will automatically re-lock the door 30 seconds after it is unlocked.

How to Check the Auto-Lock Setting

1. Remove the interior back cover of the lock.

2. Locate the internal configuration switches.

3. Check Switch 4 (Auto-Lock).

Switch 4 Settings:

• ON → Auto-Lock enabled (door re-locks after 30 seconds)

• OFF → Auto-Lock disabled (factory default setting)

If you do not want the lock to automatically re-lock, ensure Switch 4 is set to OFF.
